MADRE

MADRE is an international women's human rights organization that partners with community-based women's groups worldwide facing conflict and disaster.

As the Website and Media Coordinator, my primary responsibilities were to strengthen and standardize MADRE’s identity and voice; and to develop and manage content across various platforms to engage a broad audience of stakeholders.

My greatest undertaking in this role was collaborating with Giant Rabbit, a web development firm, to evolve the functions and design of MADRE’s website.

NEW YORK CITY ALLIANCE AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT

The New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault was founded in 2000 by rape crisis centers in New York City to advocate for the needs of survivors and the programs that serve them. The organization’s mission is to prevent sexual violence and reduce the harm it causes through education, advocacy, and research.

As NYCAASA’s communications consultant, I served as the project manager and lead writer on the re-launch of their website. I collaborated with the organization’s staff to identify the features and content they wanted to highlight. I also worked closely with Compose[d], an external web development team that consists of front and back-end developers and UX designers.
