Welcome to the first episode of Women Out Loud! This podcast, produced by MADRE, will share the stories of activists who are defining the future of women's human rights worldwide. In this episode, you will learn how our brave partners in Colombia, Iraq and Syria are addressing wartime sexual violence.

The Women Out Loud podcast was birthed from the desire to share the stories of MADRE's brave partners in the Middle East, Latin America, Caribbean, and Africa.

I served as the show's producer and occasional host, which involved: developing the theme of each episode, scriptwriting, coordinating the recording schedule, managing interviews, and audio editing.

The Anthems is a creative excuse for my bestie Marly and I to revel in our shared love of music while living thousands of miles apart. In each episode, we thoughtfully explore a mood or moment—be it personal or cultural—and dissect a few songs that evoke the theme.

We also curate episode-inspired Spotify playlists that are a cohesive collection of songs, across multiple genres. They’re also a way for Marly and I to share our taste and inspire listeners to broaden their music libraries.
